Brownfields Support Services - City of North Las Vegas

Under subcontract to Ninyo & Moore, BEC prepared quarterly reports for the City of North Las Vegas, Nevada's Brownfields Program in accordance with the Environmental Protection Agency's reporting requirements.

Additionally, BEC prepared public education and outreach materials for distribution and presents information regarding the Brownfields program generally, and the program’s activities in North Las Vegas during open public meetings.

The City of North Las Vegas used the bulk of its grant funding to evaluate and/or assess approximately 700 acres in redevelopment zones depicted in the map to the left. The City of North Las Vegas Redevelopment Agency was able to complete a total of 116 Phase I ESA’s during the two year period of their Petroleum Assessment grant.
